Double Solitaire

Double Solitaire
Double Solitaire is a two-player competitive card game where players race to sort cards onto shared foundations. Each opponent builds their own tableau using a separate deck while contributing to eight central foundations. Utilizing drag-and-drop controls or hotkeys like U to undo, the objective is to clear all cards from your tableau before your opponent.
Setup
- Tableau: Two separate Klondike tableaus of 7 columns each (one for each player).
- Decks: Two distinct standard 52-card decks (one per player).
- Foundations: 8 shared central target piles in the middle.
- Stockpile: 24 remaining draw cards kept by each player.
Controls

- Drag cards: Left-click and drag card to another column or center
- Auto-move card: Double-click or press Space to auto-move to foundations

Rules
- Build your personal tableau down in alternating colors (e.g., placing a red 9 on a black 10).
- Move only the top card of a tableau column or your active waste pile. Only a King can fill an empty column.
- Both players race to build the same 8 shared foundation piles in the center by suit in ascending order (Ace → 2 → 3 → ... → King).
- For turn-based play, flip cards from your stockpile to your waste pile to end your turn. For speed play, both play simultaneously.
- Win by being the first to play all your cards to the foundations, or by having the most cards in the foundations when a deadlock occurs.
Tips
- Pay attention to your opponent's board; you can strategically hold back cards to block them from building on a shared pile.
- Prioritize revealing the face-down cards in your own longest tableau columns to unlock more moves.
- Move Aces and 2s to the shared foundations immediately to establish piles and gain a competitive foothold.
