Double Freecell

Double Freecell
Double Freecell is a two-deck solitaire card game where players sort 104 cards into foundations. Utilizing 10 columns and 8 free cells, solvers rearrange cards face-up in descending order with alternating colors. Using click-to-move controls or hotkeys like U to undo, the objective is to build eight foundations from Ace to King by suit.
Setup
- Tableau: 10 columns of cards dealt face-up (104 cards total using two decks).
- Free Cells: 8 empty temporary slots at the top left of the board.
- Foundations: 8 empty target piles at the top right of the board.
Controls
- Move cards: Click or tap a card, then click/tap its destination
- Drag cards: Left-click and drag card to another column
- Undo last move: Press U or click the Undo button
- Get a hint: Press H or click Hint
- Restart game: Press R or click Restart
- Mobile: Tap and drag cards with smooth touch controls
Rules
- Only the top card of a tableau column or a card in a free cell is available for play.
- Build tableau columns downward in alternating colors (e.g., placing a red Jack on a black Queen).
- Move any single card to an empty free cell (each cell holds only one card).
- Any card or valid sequence of cards can be placed in an empty tableau column.
- Move cards to foundations by suit in ascending order starting with Ace up to King.
Tips
- Do not fill up all 8 free cells too early; doing so limits your ability to move and maneuver card sequences.
- Expose and move Aces to the foundations immediately to unlock building space.
- Maximize the use of empty columns—they are highly valuable for breaking down long sequences.
- Plan around rank pairs; since there are two decks, track where both identical cards are located.
