Crescent Solitaire

Crescent Solitaire
Crescent Solitaire is a challenging two-deck solitaire card game featuring a unique crescent-shaped tableau. Utilizing 104 playing cards, solvers match cards by suit onto eight central foundations. Using click-to-move controls, the objective is to clear all cards by building foundations up or down.
Setup
- Tableau: 16 columns arranged in an arc, each containing 6 face-up cards (96 total).
- Foundations: 8 piles in the center. 4 piles start with Aces (built up from Ace to King) and 4 piles start with Kings (built down from King to Ace).
Controls
- Move card: Click and drag any exposed card onto a foundation pile or another tableau column.
- Shuffle board: Click the Reshuffle button to move the bottom card of each column to the top.
- Mobile: Tap and drag cards using touchscreen controls.
Rules
- Only the topmost card of each tableau column is available for play.
- Build Aces foundations up by suit (Ace → 2 → 3... → King) and Kings foundations down by suit (King → Queen → Jack... → Ace).
- Tableau columns can be built up or down by the same suit (e.g., place a 5 of Hearts or 7 of Hearts on a 6 of Hearts).
- Build round-the-corner in columns: Kings can be placed on Aces, and Aces can be placed on Kings.
- Empty tableau spaces cannot be filled with any card.
- You are allowed up to 3 reshuffles per game to uncover blocked cards.
Tips
- Prioritize moving cards directly to the foundations; clear out Aces and Kings as quickly as possible.
- Transfer cards between tableau piles to reveal hidden cards beneath them.
- Never empty a tableau column completely unless absolutely necessary, as that space is permanently lost.
