Dream Pet Link

Dream Pet Link is a fast-paced tile-matching puzzle game where players clear a board of cute animal tiles. Developed by Agame in 2020, solvers connect identical pairs using paths with a maximum of two 90-degree turns. Using simple left-click controls, players must clear the grid before the shrinking time bar runs out across nine challenging levels.

Setup

• Board: A rectangular grid filled with various tiles featuring cute animal faces.
• Timer: A teal time bar at the top of the screen that slowly drains in real-time.
• Tools: Limited number of hints (magnifying glass) and board reshuffles at the top right.

Controls

• Select tile: Click (desktop) or tap (mobile) on a tile
• Match pair: Click/tap the first tile, then click/tap an identical tile
• Use hint: Click the magnifying glass icon to reveal a valid match
• Reshuffle board: Click the reshuffle icon to randomize remaining tiles

Rules

1. You can only connect two identical animal tiles if the path between them has no more than two 90-degree turns.
2. The connecting line cannot pass through other tiles; it must travel around the perimeter or through cleared empty spaces.
3. If two identical tiles are directly adjacent to each other (vertically or horizontally), they can be matched immediately.
4. Each successful match refills a small portion of the shrinking time bar.
5. Win by clearing all tiles on the board before the timer runs out to progress through 9 levels.

Tips

• Start by matching tiles along the edges and perimeter of the grid first; this opens up the interior and creates connecting paths.
• Work quickly! Keeping a steady and fast pace ensures your time bar stays full, earning you a higher time bonus at level completion.
• Save your hints and reshuffles for the later, more difficult levels when matching combinations become extremely scarce.
