Flappy Bird

Flappy Bird is a side-scrolling arcade game created by Dong Nguyen in 2013. Tap the screen or press Spacebar to flap a bird upward through gaps between green pipes. Each pipe pair passed earns 1 point. Gravity pulls the bird down between taps — one collision ends the run. Free to play in any browser.

Controls

How to Play

1. Tap or click to make the bird flap upward. Each tap gives a small boost.
2. Stop tapping and gravity pulls the bird downward.
3. Navigate through the gaps between green pipes scrolling from the right.
4. Each pipe pair you pass earns 1 point.
5. Hitting a pipe or the ground ends the game — tap to restart instantly.

Tips

• Keep taps evenly spaced — smooth rhythm beats frantic clicking.
• Approach pipes from a lower position for more control on the upward correction.
• Aim for the center of each gap rather than hugging the edges.
