Drift Boss
Drift Boss is a fast-paced one-button arcade game where players steer a car along an endless winding platform. Developed by MarketJS in 2019, players hold the Spacebar or left-click to drift right, and release to go left. The objective is to drive as far as possible without falling off the edge, collecting coins to buy boosters and unlock new vehicles.
Controls
- Drift Right: Press and hold Spacebar or Left Mouse Click
- Go Left (Straighten): Release Spacebar or Left Mouse Click
- Mobile: Tap and hold to drift right; release to go left
How to Play
- Your car accelerates forward on its own along an endless zig-zag platform.
- Hold the Spacebar or mouse button through a right-hand bend.
- Release the hold to let the car straighten back to the left.
- Collect coins along the platform to buy boosters and unlock new vehicles.
- The run ends the moment your car leaves the platform. There is no health bar.
Boosters
Chosen on the Select Boosters screen before every run, paid for with coins:
- Double Score — 25 coins
- Car Insurance — 50 coins; one free save instead of falling
- Coin Rush — 75 coins; extra coins on the platform
Unlocking cars
- With coins: the first locked car costs 250 coins.
- With cards: the Lootbox gives 1 free card every 60 minutes; Card Assembly merges 3 matching cards; only cards pushed to Level 5 become drivable.
- Daily Rewards run a 5-day streak: 50 coins, 3 stars, 3 cars, 3 coin stacks, then 100 coins.
Tips
- Drift late, not early. The game's own in-game hint is to drift only when you are close to a bend; turning too soon walks the car off the inside edge.
- Stay centered on the platform between bends so a slightly mistimed turn still has room.
- Skip coins sitting near the outer edge; the run is worth more than the coin.
- You can still steer your car in mid-air after a jump, so a landing angle is adjustable.
