Baker's Game

Baker's Game
Baker's Game is a challenging solitaire card game and the direct ancestor of FreeCell. Unlike its famous successor, you must build tableau columns down by the same suit rather than alternating colors. Utilize the four reserve cells carefully to maneuver your 52 cards, building all four foundation piles from Ace to King to win.
Setup
- Tableau: 52 cards dealt face-up into 8 columns.
- Foundations: 4 empty piles at the top right to build your suits.
- Reserve Cells: 4 empty slots at the top left for temporary storage.
Rules
- You must build tableau columns in descending order by the same suit (e.g., placing the 9 of Spades only onto the 10 of Spades).
- Any single card can be moved to an empty reserve cell.
- You can move an entire valid sequence of cards if you have enough empty reserve cells and empty tableau columns to support the move.
- Empty tableau columns can be filled with any available card or sequence.
How to Play
- Click and drag a card to move it, or click the card and then click its destination.
- Prioritize uncovering Aces and move them to the foundation piles immediately.
- Build the foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
- The game is won when all 52 cards are successfully stacked in the foundation piles.
Tips
- Keep your reserve cells empty as much as possible — they are your most valuable resource.
- An empty tableau column is more powerful than a single reserve cell because it can hold a whole sequence.
- Do not bury low cards under high cards of the same suit unless you have a clear plan to free them later.
